What option would you chose if you were me?

I will be staying 2 nights in Bruges and 2 nights in Brussels.

When I arrive in Brussels Airport on day 1, I go straight from there to Bruges where I will stay that night and the following night. Then I leave to Brussels where I stay that night and the following night.

What should I do:
A) Full day of visit of Bruges, then when I leave Bruges, I split the itinerary suggested in Rick Steves book (1st day: Grand Place Walk with BELvue Museum (it's free on Wedsensdays which is why I booked it), the following day I would do the Upper Town Walk, Royal museum of fine arts and ending with the European Parliament.

B) Although I stay in Bruges, I book a Quasimodo Tour bus group for Flanders field on my full day to see the WW1 sights, the following day before leaving for Brussels, I do Rick Steves Bruges city town walk and end my day in Brussels where I visit BELvue Museum (it's free on Wedsensdays which is why I booked it). I have then the day after, a full day to visit Brussels.

C) Full day in Bruges, then when I leave Bruges, I visit Ghent (incl. a stop at St.Bavo Cathedral) for the day before taking the train to Brussels and then the following day I visit Brussels for the entire day.

I haven`t yet decided, the only thing that is sure from my trip is my 2 nights stay in Bruges and Brussels. Although I did book the BELvue museum on the day I leave Bruges to Brussels, I can always cancel it, plus it was free since it's free as I stated on Wednesdays.

The problem with these “what would you do if you were me” questions is that we aren’t you. We don’t know you and we know nothing about your interests, your likes and dislikes nor when this visit is taking place.
You’ve posted 3 completely different itineraries. If I were you, I would choose the one that interests me the most.

They all interest me, it's just I am with limited time, I can't do it all. I suggested all three because all three interests me.

FYI, admission Bellevue Museum is free on Wednesdays, but only after 2:00 p.m. This is a great time for parents (and grandparents) to visit the museum with their (grand)children...since they don’t have school on Wednesday afternoons.

The museum also organizes special scavenger hunts and games for children ages 3 to 12 during that time.
It never gets chaotic, but it can be livelier and busier with children playing.

I vote for (C). I think Ghent is worth spending a day. In addition to St. Bavo's, the Museum of Fine Arts there is also worth a visit.

If I were you, I would choose museums and churches. I wouldn't choose walks and WWI sites. I also wouldn't choose tours. However, that's just me, and I am not you.

@Lane C Ghent is definitely interesting, it's also conviniently right in between Bruges and Brussels.

The better question is which one we (not you) would choose. As noted, since we know nothing
about you, what we can reasonably comment on is what we would choose, and especially, why.

Since all of the 3 are quite busy and hectic, I will assume you are travel-savvy and fit enough to
execute any of these. I will also assume that you are not one to want to linger too much and will
have your city agendas planned out in advance.

I would choose C. All 3 places are interesting, Brussels less and Bruges/Ghent more so a day in
each under this crammed itinerary gets you a taste of all. I think the WW1 and WW2 sites in that
part of Europe are worth a more in-depth exploration.

@Shoeflyer As I said in my previous comments, the three I mentioned are equally options I want to do, it's just the time that is not on my side. Yes, I am a 44 year old who is fit and can do 3 cities back to back to back, so that's not an issue for me. C seems to be what is being proposed here and I am inclining to agree with you and the other comment that said to pick C.

I can only comment if it was me and the clear winner would be the WW1 sites with Quasimodo. I did that tour in October last year and it was outstanding. Also if it was me I'd skip Brussels completely and spend my time in Bruges and Ghent.
