Hi all. We have Saturday and Sunday to divide between Bruges and Ghent. Any suggestions on which would do better on a Saturday and the other on Sunday? TIA!

I would pick Ghent for the Sunday. On Sunday mornings there is a flower market in Ghent which a lot of people come to visit and have something to drink there. Ghent also being the bigger town copes with Sunday crowds better. On weekends and particularly Sundays, Bruges can be overrun with tourists. Ghent gets a lot of tourists too, but absorbs them better.

Bruges is more tourist-oriented and stays lively any day.
