I have gotten some fantastic transit information from this forum before, so if you please, does this trip make sense? I am staying in the Old City but traveling each day to see my daughter play a few hours of softball at the International School of Brussels . I checked Rome 2 Rio, and it tells me to take the metro from De Brouckere (closest to my hotel) to Beaulieu, and take the line 17 bus to Heiligenborre. It will take 45 minutes total. Does anyone think there is a better way to go? Or how much do you think a taxi or Uber will cost? I could probably pay 20E each way but beyond that gets too expensive.
Or maybe I could take the metro part and use at taxi from Beaulieu? How much would a taxi run about, and are they usually waiting at metro stations? Thanks for any help.
