T-Mobile phone service in Belgium

Hi, we're traveling to Belgium soon (about 10 days) and we were trying to figure out whether purchasing any of the International Data Passes are worth it.

I have a brand new Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra while my daughter has a much older Motorola Moto G Pure. Currently we just have the standard G5 Data plan, though only my phone actually supports 5G. My daughter ordinarily uses about 50GB data per month on average, mostly accessed over our home wifi, I use about 1 GB - 5 GB on average, again mostly over the home wifi.

I'm pretty sure both hotels we're staying at will have wifi. I anticipate a small amount of Internet usage for myself and some GPS while touring during the day. My daughter says she can hold off on her data usage while we're touring.

Most TMobile plans come with some quantity of high speed international data. If you discover one day that things have slowed way down, buy a day or 15 days or a month. Easy with the TMobile account app. All depends on how much longer you will be here.

I have T-Mobile and it worked fine in Belgium and the Netherlands last fall when we were there, We have the Magenta plus plan that included 5gb/month international high speed data. We used our phones as we do in the US, and used wifi in our hotel/apartment at night for any streaming or saving photos. We did not have to do anything, as we crossed country boundaries we would get "Welcome to Belgium" text from T-Mobile.

We did not use close to 5gb and we were there 3 weeks. We used phone for navigating and any lookup we needed to do. Our plan did charge 25c/min for local calls. We called home at night or morning using wifi for no charges.
