We arrive into Schipol airport on 25 May. Planning to take train straight to Brussels that day (will do the last half of trip back in Amsterdam). Looking at train schedules and it seems we will need to change twice. Is there a service interruption that day to the direct lines? Or am I not looking on the right website? One option requires a change in Rotterdam in 2 minutes. Is that feasible? Thank you!
There is some work going on the tracks so that is why you see no direct trains. If you miss the 2 minute connection your ticket is good on any other train running on the way to Brussels that day.
The perils of scheduling train travel on weekends. That is when they do engineering work on the tracks so as not to inconvenience business people. Tourists are on the bottom of the food chain.

You do not say what time you are arriving and then taking the train from Schiphol.
I am seeing Intercity direct train service in about 2 hours to Brussels for May 25th. You have to get on another train at Brussels MidI for 4 minute ride to Brussels Centraal.
Appears that the trains run about one per hour.
Thanks for the help. We arrive around 9am. I’ll check out the intercity.
Looks like there are works on the high speed line between Rotterdam and Antwerp, and as a result you are routed via the old line. Probably for operational reasons they cannot just reroute all trains via the old route (or they just can't be bothered) so you end up having to take a couple of different trains. Except the inconvenience not a big issue. Tickets are for a route, not a train...
@David: Where are you seeing that the direct trains to Brussels are running on May 25th? The direct trains are not running on that day, as confirmed by the Belgian railways' website.
