We will be spending about 4 days in Bruges in May next year. There are two of us and we are looking for a simple b&b or somewhere in the heart of things. Any suggestions would be helpful. We plan to arrive by train so want to be in close.

We stayed in a converted 18th century monastery that is centrally located and a very easy walk from the train station. Breakfast was included.

We will be staying at the Huis Koning B&B. It looks amazing. Check it out. I hope I remember to write back to let you know how it fared. We will be there in the end of August. : )

Spent three nights at Huis Koning in March. Great location and outstanding hosts. It’s a mile from the train station and an easy walk. A taxi will cost about €8.

We stayed 1 night at the Bonifacius Private Guesthouse and it was amazing. Not the least expensive in town but a fabulous breakfast. The room was spotless and included a complementary minibar, however our King Suite was up a narrow flight of stairs so I would be sure to check what rooms are available if this would be an issue.

Last spring we spent 3 nights at Hotel Patritius. Great location with just a short walk to many attractions. Room was spacious and comfy with great breakfasts. Family operated and quite helpful.
