Paris to London to Brussels:should I fly or take the train & which train should I take?

Hi,

I'm planning on visiting Paris, London & Brussels the first week in June. I originally wanted to go to London and Paris only but it works out cheaper for me to fly into Paris & out of Brussels back home. I am leaving from Miami Florida in the United states.
The plan is to is Fly into Paris from Miami, take the train from Paris to London but I don't know weather it is best for me to fly or take the train from London to Brussels? I have been looking at prices on the Eurostar & also don't know if I should book those tickets from now? Also how close is the train station to the airport in Brussels? I am travelling with friends who have all been to London but non of us to Paris or Belgium & just want to know the easiest & cheapest way to get around. Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks,
Dmoy

Eurostar trains are the best. Go from Paris to London, then London to Brussels. Don't buy tickets until you have fixed dates, but try to do that as early as possible. A few highly discounted tickets are sold for every train, usually 120 days in advance. They are nonchangeable, nonrefundable and a bargain. Prices go up as tickets are sold.

The train stations are in the cities, while the airports are miles away, so it's both time-consuming and expensive to get to them. You only need be at the train station an hour before departure, and you don't have to wait around to collect your luggage when you arrive.

When you book on Eurostar, be sure to use their website. You may have to change your home country to UK or something - it doesn't matter for purchasing, but the site may not work well otherwise. If you want to spend a couple of days in Belgium, you may want to visit (and stay in) either Bruges or Ghent, both are easy train rides from Brussels. Then, when you book the train from London to Belgium, choose "any Belgian station" - then you can continue on a local train from Brussels Central Station to any city you choose.
