One or two train tickets from Bruges to Brussels stopping at Ghent

Hi all, I am leaving the beautiful city of Bruges to Brussels tomorrow. I would like visit Ghent for a few hours before arriving Brussels. Do I need to purchase two tickets, one to Ghent, then buy another from Ghent to Brussels? Also can you point out the exact location for Ghent luggage storage? Thanks

No, you just buy a ticket Bruges-Brussels. This ticket allows you to visit Ghent and continue later (that same day) towards Brussels (a ticket is valid for a specific date, not a specific time).
You will find the luggage lockers inside the station building, just follow the luggage signs.

As the previous poster said, one ticket and you can stop in Ghent to visit for a few hours then hop back on to Brussels. Super easy! Enjoy your visit!

Remember that the historic center or Ghent is not at the train station (bus or walk), and the Mystic Lamb requires advance booking.

and the Mystic Lamb requires advance booking.

Probably a good idea if you have to see it, however we were in Ghent on Tuesday and walked right up. It wasn't busy.

Prebooking Mystic Lamb won't be necessary today, even not for the VR tour (with the number of vr glasses as limiting factor).

More important is that today Saturday 11 October, The Night of Darkness will take place. Ghent is also taking part, extinguishing much of its monument lighting for the occasion. As every year, the goal is to raise awareness about the harmful effects of light pollution and emphasise the importance of protecting the nocturnal environment.

Thank you for each of you for your prompt response. Unfortunately we did not have the time Mystic Lamb. Keep that in mind for next trip.
