We will be in Brussels for a few days in July. We have to check out of our lodging at 11:00 a.m., but our flight out doesn't leave until 9 p.m. We would appreciate any suggestions as to how to spend our last day in the city without having to drag our luggage with us.

Ask the hotel to keep your bags till you are ready to leave for the airport.

Hi there!
If your hotel won't hold your bags -- or it's not in a convenient spot - you may want to look at one of the commercial luggage storage places. We used StoreYourBags in Budapest and Madrid last year and were very happy with the option. (Nannybag and Bounce are similar.) You can pay for your storage in advance then use a code to lock your bags in a big locker until you're ready to head to the airport.

The Brussels Midi, Central, and North train station have lockers for as long as can remember

Thanks for the suggestions. We are not staying at a hotel, so we will look into storing luggage at the train station.
