We leave on April 10th. Need to get from bruges to rouen by train on Sunday, April 14th. Is there is better way than
stopping in Kortrijk and then in Lille then to Amiens to Rouen. 6 hours and 44 minutes with a long layover in Amiens (1 hour 25 min)
Thanks, I am a bit panicked!
You asked a similar question a few months ago.
If you’re still confused it would have been better if you had asked a follow up question in that thread.

Go Saturday afternoon and it is 4 hours and 55 minutes with no stop in Amiens.
If you are looking for fewer changes and a bit faster, then consider the regular train from Bruges to Brussels Midi station then the Eurostar to Paris Gare du Nord, then metro, cab, or RER to St, Lazare Station, and a train directly to Rouen. Looks like typical time is 4 1/2 hours or so. It is just a long way with no direct route.
Using trains in France to go from somewhere not Paris to somewhere else not Paris is often inefficient. And SNCF does inefficient scheduling better than anyone in Europe.
Just relax and have a coffee and a pastry in Amiens.
