Hello,
My flight arrives in Brussels but my destination is Aachen.
Is there public transit/train options that I can access to get to Aachen from Brussels?
It would be helpful to know how to get from airport to transit as well.

Train or bus both work. On Google type in Brussels to Aachen and the various options will appear. Looks like bus is quicker and cheaper. Check Brussels airport for transportation to city from airport.

There is a train station right at the airport. Looks like frequent trains that can get you there in under 2 hours.

You’re in luck since the high-speed Thalys train travels from Brussels Midi-Zuid train station in central Brussels
to Aachen in 70 minutes. It’s another 20 minutes and €11 to get from BRU Airport to Brussels Midi-Zuid train station. If you buy your ticket 90-120 days in advance the Thalys train fare is as low as €22.

Just use www.b-europe.com to look up times and prices. And you do not need separate bookings for the different trains. just one booking Brussels Airport to Aachen.
