Hello, my husband and i are flying to Brussels from Italy where we would have attended a wedding. Since we will be travelling through Belgium we would like to store our one piece of larger luggage at the airport, as we are taking the train when we arrive directly to Bruges. We will be flying out of Brussels back home 8 days later.
I am a bit hesitant to rely on the fact there will be available space at the airport to store and it seems you can not reserve a locker.
Has anyone stored their luggage at the airport? Are there lots of lockers?
Would be open to any alternatives that are in close proximity to the airport so we can get back to the train station in the airport to head to Bruges.
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated

My wife and I traveled all over Germany for 2 weeks by train, We had a large suitcase with formal clothes because of a 6=day opera festival in the middle of the trip, and we managed quite well. So, I would just assume there is a locker of the proper size available. They even mention having storage that can handle bikes, golf clubs, skis, etc. From the airport website:
Are you travelling with large or heavy items such as a bicycle, golf bags, skis or a musical instrument? You can store them in our lockers. Call +32 2 753 3013 or use the free intercom at the luggage lockers.
The price is €10 per 24 hours for a maximum of 3 items. Each additional item costs €2,50 per day.
Otherwise, you could travel with the bag without too much trouble I would think.
