Six of us will be disembarking in Antwerp on a Friday morning from a Uniworld River Cruise. We want to leave our luggage and go sightseeing in the morning and then pick up our luggage and have a car service take us to another city. Uniworld said we could leave our luggage on the SS Emilie (new boat) and come back for it. I am doubting that this is true when we are actually there, on the boat. Does anyone have any suggestions for me regarding the luggage and your thoughts on the veracity of Uniworld's office saying ok and the boat Captain agreeing?
Thanks.
Find out the exact location of your disembarkment and look for left luggage locations
nearby. Then you have a backup plan in case the office is giving you false info.
I'd get the office to provide you an email saying what they told you. The Uniworld site
says you can also wait on the boat depending on the sailing schedule.
I would also be sure I know how secure the left luggage arrangements on the boat are.
There also are luggage storage services such as Bounce and RadicalStorage in Antwerp. You can google them up for locations.
Thank you to everyone. You have been most helpful. I have what I need!
