Does anyone have a recommendation for a nice hotel in Ghent? Something centrally located and in the ballpark of $150-200 USD a night?
Mike, I have stayed at the Ghent Marriott 2 times and the hotel is great-centrally located right on the river. Really one of the few times staying in an American chain hotel in Europe makes sense. Depending on when you are looking at going, the rates are in your range. Also, for a completely different experience, I spent a week with a few friends on a 3 BR houseboat in Ghent that we found on airbnb that was outstanding and unique. I would highly recommend it. The Hotel Harmony is right on the embankment in the center of the city, and is also recommended by Rick.
My daughter and I stayed at the Hotel Harmony. Very Nice. rooms, Great Location.
Good to hear. I just received confirmation that we will be staying in the Hotel Harmony as the first hotel in our upcoming RS Belgium-Netherlands tour. It looks like great, scenic location.
