My husband and I will be staying in Bruges for two night and really want to participate in a chocolate making class. We have looked in that are and ghent and it appears the only classes offered are for already set groups. We would like to join a group of 10-20 people and just pay for our part. Does anyone know where we can find a workshop like this that will just let us join and not make us pay over 200 euros for a private class?

There are workshops available at the Choco Story (Chocolate Museum) in Bruges that may suite you? Here's a link to their workshops page: http://choco-story-brugge.be/ENG/workshops.htm. I haven't taken these, so I can't really say if they are good. The museum was a little cheesy (one of the dioramas was lego) but entertaining. I enjoyed it.
