I am planning a trip to Brussels and Bruges in late September to attend the flea market at Vieux Marche Place du Jeu de Balle in Brussels and the Zandfeesten in Bruges (Tongeren). Questions I have (and they are many) are: Which airport should I fly into? Do you have any recommendations for a hotel relatively close to the flea market in Brussels? What is the best way to travel from the airport to the hotel area? What is the best way to travel from Brussels to Bruges and how long is the trip? Again, hotel suggestions for a hotel in close proximity to the Zandfeesten flea market and how to get there from the train? I am shopping for personal items, not for resale. What should I know about bringing several hundred dollars worth of items back to the US (in my luggage)? Thank you for any advice you may offer.
