This Wednesday (1st May) there will be celebrations in central Brussels around the rue Royale to mark the 150th anniversary of the city tramway system. On the positive side, if you're interested in public transport or local history, it'll be fun, with an exhibition, tram parade at lunch time, and free vintage tram rides in the afternoon. On the negative side, bus and surface tram services within the Pentagon are likely to be very disrupted.
