Is anything going to be open in the way of museums and other attractions (bike rentals, restaurants, etc) in Bruges Good Friday through Easter Monday (April 19-22)? Will all days be uniformly bad? Boston Charlie.
This is what the website of the TI about opening hours says: https://www.visitbruges.be/opening-hours The Groeningemuseum and Saint-Johns Hospital are open every day of Eastern Weekend, Monday included what’s usually a closing day. The Church of Our Lady is anyway open every day, however it’s interior is under restoration and according plan from the end of coming March the statue of Michelangelo’s Madonna will be visible again, but not clear is that it will be complete or for a part. https://www.visitbruges.be/en/onze-lieve-vrouwekerk-church-of-our-lady
We visited Bruges in the middle of July and were expecting bad crowds. We were pleasantly surprised. We walked from our b & b to the downtown and traveled over the bridges. It never felt crowded and sometimes we didn't pass anyone for awhile. You should be fine. I'm not sure I would recommend biking with all the cobbles. Maybe do a boat tour instead.
