We will be driving on a Friday, from Amsterdam, and want to arrive in Paris in the evening on a Monday. We will have already visited Bruges, Paris and the France Normandy region. This is the only portion of the trip where we will be renting a car and driving. Is there a suggested route to take through Belgium so that we can have a leisure drive and see the countryside, and visit breweries, and spend some time in scenic countryside to get to know Belgium more? And are there any suggestions or tips for renting a car in Amsterdam, and dropping it off at the Charles de Gaulle Airport? Than you in advance.
"suggestions or tips for renting a car in Amsterdam, and dropping it off at the Charles de Gaulle Airport?" - don't.
Seriously, there are large charges for dropping of a car in a different country to the one you picked it up in. Have you got a quote for this car, including international one-way drop-off charges? One-way drop off charges within a country are minimal, it is international one-way which costs. I suggest you get a quite before finalising your plans.
We have not searched for quotes yet. This is just an idea. Perhaps we just take trains? We want to have an experience where we are able to stay a few nights in a quaint town that we stumble upon.
