Dinant & Maastrich - advice on where to eat for a quick stop passing through

We are passing through each of these cities on separate parts of a road trip through Belgium. Would love recommendations on where to eat in each -- nothing fancy, but a delicious local cafe, bakery or grab/go spot preferred. If there is a site or two to see, I'd love recommendations there too? Not looking to stay long, just enough time to enjoy some new scenery and some lunch.

Thank you!

In Maastricht I can recommend Eetcafé De Vreede, which is on the market square (think hamburgers, pancakes, etc). For Dinant I can't recommend a specific restaurant / café, but there is a riverbank which has a lot of cafés and restaurants along it. I have eaten there but it's all a very long time ago now and so I think a closer recommendation would be out of date. But the area is pleasant, you couldn't go wrong there.

Riverside Dinant is very attractive. Great for strolling and many cafes. I don't remember where we ate. We were there on a summer day and we took a local boat ride. Take the cable car up to the citadel overlooking the town. There are a lot of historical displays up there about the citadel's role in defense of the city. My kids loved it. It was the highlight of our daytrip to Dinant by train from Brussels. The views of the city and river below are excellent.
