Diabolo Train Fee??

We are still novices at rail travel in Europe, so this may seem like a silly question....
We have several train trips planned during our week in Belgium. On the first one, we will take the train from Amsterdam to Brugge with a connection in Antwerp. Our next trip will be from Brugge to Brussels Midi. The final trip will be from Brussels Midi to Paris.
Are we required to pay the "Diablo Fee" on any of these journeys? If so, which ones? When and where do we pay these? Thank you for your advice.

I saw some pages online that could have prompted your confusion, but bottom line, as I understand it from this page, is that the fee only applies for trains to or from Brussels airport (and not all of those).

The Diabolo fee is only for travelling from Brussels to or from the nearby National Airport and is included in the ticket. There has been made some serious changes in the railway network around the airport and this fee contributes financing the project. So if you don't go to the airport you don't have to pay that fee.
