Connection times at IAD and BRU

Hi all,

Typically, I like to leave three hours between connecting flights to accommodate delays and such. United Airlines has a flight from

Los Angeles, CA, US (LAX) to Washington, DC, US (IAD)
UA 1534 (Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner)

Connection is 1 hour and 50 minutes, then:

Washington, DC, US (IAD) to Brussels, BE (BRU)
UA 950 (Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner)

Then, we'd have 2 hours and 15 minutes at BRU to connect to the next United/Brussels Air flight for Marseilles.

Does anyone have any recent experience connecting through Dulles and/or Brussels? This feels tight at IAD for an international flight. BRU seems small but hard to tell based on the airport map.

Thank you!

I have only originated flights at IAD, but it's an easy airport. Since you check in at LAX, you need to only change gates in the secure area.

But I don't understand why you are asking about TGV from CDG, too. Still checking all possibilities?

I too have only originated at Dulles, but almost two hours should be more than enough time. As already stated, all you’re doing is changing gates.
