My husband and I will be traveling from Amsterdam via train to Bruges on December 24. We will spend Christmas Eve and Christmas Day in Bruges before leaving for Paris on December 26. We are looking for any information about Bruges during these days. Where should we make Christmas Eve reservations for dinner? How much of the city will be closed on Christmas Day? Any information would be helpful. :)

You may get replies from people with relevant experience in that town, but might also contact the Bruges tourist office. Their web site also has this list of special events.

Even living some 40km from Bruges I have no experience with Christmas Eve dinners there. But you can have a look at: www.dinnersite.be (select English)

I suggest asking your hotel or B&B for suggestions and information, and for help making your dinner reservations.
