I'll be in Brussels with my family at the end of June and we are keen on taking a chocolate-making workshop. I see a few options but curious what this forum recommends from experience?
I did one of those chocolate shop / candy making tours in Brussels back in 2018 and it was really fun. The family would enjoy! I booked it through either Expedia or Viator.
My family will be there in July and our kids would love this too. Which company are you considering?
I’ll be there in September so interested as well!
I would try Planete Chocolat in Rue du Lombard. I didn't do the workshop but I bought some chocolate there for my girlfriend and she loved it. This was just a few weeks ago.
We ended up going with the "Belgian Chocolate Workshop" https://www.belgianchocolateworkshop.com/ - We had a lot of fun. It's 2.5 hours and you make a lot of chocolates, mainly pralines. Class was easy to find and the person that led our group was charming and knowledgeable. Was with my wife and 2 teenage sons and all of us enjoyed the experience / nobody got bored but there are slower moments as you wait for chocolate to get the right temperature and also as you wait for it to cool enough to fill and so on. Class leader does a good job explaining and filling in the time. Can highly recommend it. They teach a waffle making class at the same location.
