We will be spending 5 weeks driving in Belgium, the Netherlands, and part of Germany. I had assumed we would rent a vehicle, but I read I might be better off leasing. I am looking for information about how to go about leasing a car when we arrive in Brussels — who to contact, how it works, etc. We will pick up the car in Brussels and return it in Amsterdam.
Any help would be appreciated.

We are spending 4 weeks in Portugal, Spain and SW France and found leasing was the ONLY way to go! The drop off fee was going to be unbelievably high if renting. We are leasing thru Auto Europe and a Peugeot lease.

The French-based leases should be arranged before you leave home; see info and links at https://www.ricksteves.com/travel-tips/transportation/car-leasing. You'll make a reservation to meet someone in Brussels or Amsterdam with your specific new car, not one from a "pool."
