I had previously asked these as questions, so I'll report back now....
1) We took the Flanders Fields day tour from Bruges by Quasimodo Tours, and it was EXCELLENT!! We paid 150 euros per couple for a 9:00 - 5:30ish tour, which provided the tour guide (we got a private tour!), all roundtrip transportation from Bruges and lunch with a museum visit. So much information & we highly recommend!!
2) We struggled to find a nice & reasonable hotel in the center of Bruges, and decided on the Hotel Bla Bla. Very clean inn, nice staff, center of town location for easy walking, and a simple breakfast. It was absolutely everything we wanted for a nice & reasonable price.
