I know there's a lot of places to buy excellent chocolate in Brussels but does anyone know if there are chocolate factory tours, chocolate museums or chocolate workshops in Brussels? We're trying to do more than just buy chocolate this time :)

The official chocolate museum is in one of the buildings on the Grand Place. I've never visited but it looks like it offers workshop sessions as well. The shops Zabaar and Planete Chocolat also do workshops.

I did the Saturday chocolate workshop at Zaabar a few years ago and really enjoyed it! They give you a brief demonstration/lesson above chocolate and then you make a couple of different kinds of treats to take with you. The chocolates we made were delicious! It's only offered on Saturdays, but for the price and experience and amount of treats I walked away with, I wouldn't hesitate to do it again!
