Brussels- bag storage

Hi everyone. Can anyone confirm if there are bag storage facilities at Brussels train station? I’ve googled but the pages that come up are quite dated.
Cheers, Cathy

What station? If coming in from high speed rail, I can confirm Midi-Station has a large, modern storage locker section that includes lockers ranging from small to large.

We’ll be getting a local train from Brugge then getting the Wurostar to Amsterdam.... are they different stations?

Since you're asking about bag storage, I assume you want to visit the Grand-Place while you're in Brussels before continuing on Eurostar to Amsterdam.

The train station that's within walking distance to the main Brussels sights in the Grand-Place is Bruxelles Central. But for Eurostar, you'll depart from Bruxelles-Midi.

The train from Bruges will stop first at Bruxelles-Midi and then at Central.

There are lockers for luggage storage at Central. You will then need to take the train back to Midi after you do your Brussels sightseeing.

Thank you, that is very helpful. We think we’ll have around 4 -6 hours to look around Brussels before catching the Eurostar. Thinking maybe even doing the hop on hop off bus? Can anyone recommend that or a different strategy for our time?

Are you sure that the Eurostar allows passengers to board at Brussels to Amsterdam? Generally the fast train between Brussels (Midi/Zuid) to Amsterdam Centraal is the Thalys, slower train is the International.

The new Eurostar service (one way only, there is no return train) from London to Amsterdam does call at Brussels but I had no idea they allowed new passengers to board. It must be expensive.

Check your minimum check in time for Eurostar. Usually you'd be looking at an hour, due to security and border control, but if they are allowing Brussels - Amsterdam that won't need border control, yet they must have to put everybody going to the departure happ through security else security is compromised.

Can you let us know what you have been told?

Hi Nigel... when I looked up tickets there is an 8:30pm departure from Brussels to Amsterdam that costs 34 euros. Assuming we can buy those tickets.
