Hello Again - Sorry for all of my questions, but I guess this is the place for them!
We are in Brugges overnight - hoping to do a canal tour, and a self-guided walking tour. Any suggestions on resources for this (apps?). Not really looking for indoor tours, but open to that if time permits. Again, thank you all for sharing your knowledge!
As with most other cities, the best place to start is the official tourist information. You can visit their tourist information center while here for maps etc, but they also have a great website with lots of information https://www.visitbruges.be/en
We took the free walking tour that started in Grand-Place in the evening. It took us to pretty much to the same places we had walked on our own, but the guide added some information. It started at the Pieter de Coninck en Jan Breydel monument.
