David, the reason your online searches were unsuccessful was possibly because you are misspelling the name.
The town is called Brugge (two 'g'). That is in Flemish, the local language. In French it is known as "Bruges". In English people use either "Bruges" or "Brugge".
Actually I just googled "Visit Bruge" and it showed up both "Bruges" and "Brugge". That's why I like google so much: it corrects my mistakes :-)
David, I probably don't need to tell you at this point but that website is also very useful for collecting info on Bruges' attractions and choosing which of them to visit. I do hope you've given it more than 1 day as there are many interesting things to see!
