We will arrive in Brussels in mid April, stay 1 day and take the train to Ghent where our tour starts. Do I need to prepay/ reserve train tickets? Will it be busy in April? Or can we just buy the ticket just prior to heading to Ghent?
There are several of these an hour, no reservation needed. They do get crowded at the end of the school day and at rush hour. So you might have to stand. Same fare from all three Brussels stations (NOT including the airport.)
Thank you very much! We will just miss the Easter holiday time.

Thanks for updating your location..... merci
What's HBH?
"HBH" is a new one for me too, but looking at Rick's tours, it seems to be Heart of Belgium and Holland.
Funny - I'm used to seeing BOE and GAS and actually understanding what these are without a second thought. I guess I have spent too much time on this site!
(for those who haven't spent so much time here, those are Best of Europe and Germany, Austria, Switzerland).
What us your tour date for hbh? I will he on the April 27th
You are correct that HBH is the Belgium & Netherlands trip. I should have added RS in the title, but didn't want it to cut off the train & location as that was my question.
We week be home before April 27.
