We will be traveling to Bruges or Ghent on All Saint's Day (Nov. 1). I realize this is a public holiday, but most sights don't seem to list it as a closure. Does anyone know if most shops/restaurants attractions will be closed on this day? Thank you in advance!
Museums and sights will be open (in Europe they tend to stay open on Sundays and public holidays but close on ordinary Mondays). Restaurants will probably be open but check if there's a particular one you're making a special trip to. Shops will probably be closed with the possible exception of those in very highly tourist-centric areas and a few convenience stores.
