We are considering a 7 day self drive canal boat trip using Le Boat. Has anyone done this route? If yes, do you recommend it? We have done several trips in France, so are familiar with canal boats. Any advice on the route, ease and accessibility from moorings to sightseeing, any other tips would be great. We are considering first week of September, hoping for less crowds but still decent weather. Thanks!
