I don't want to wait much longer to set up our Brussels vacation beginning on/about September 1, 2014. But I can't find out when the Royal Palace is open to tourists. It would spoil our trip if we arrived in Brussels after the palace was closed for the year. How can I get the information I need?
The official website of The Belgian Monarchy is: www.monarchie.be
Under the tab Palace and Heritage / Palace of Brussels they state:
Rooms and spaces
Since 1965, it has been traditional for the Royal Palace of Brussels to be accessible to the public each year, so that they can admire the prestigious state rooms laden with history. This tour is available in summer, after the National Holiday on 21 July, until the beginning of September.
This info is as accurate as I can get now, guess they will give more exact dates and opening hours later. Or contact TI in Brussels: [email protected]
Hello,
I visited the Palace last year as I work nearby.
Normally it opens in the beginning of August untill the beginning of September.
It's free to visit, though not guided. Closed on Mondays though.
Greetz,
Nathalie
This Brussels site mentions dates through September 8.
