Does anyone have any suggestions for a hotel at BRU for one night? Shuttle service preferred. Thanks

You have a few options. Easiest but probably most expensive is the airport Sheraton. The advantages here are obvious, as it's connected directly to the airport. No need for a shuttle., and you have a restaurant within the hotel.
Second, immediately outside of the airport along the A201, you'll find the usual cluster of cheaper chain hotels (Ibis, Novotel, Holiday Inn, NH, etc). Most (if not all) advertise complementary shuttle service. Disadvantages include the fact that you couldn't imagine a more dreary area to spend your final night in Belgium. And last time I drove on this road, I didn't see a single restaurant.
Third, the train ride from Brussel Centraal is only about 15 minutes, and the earliest trains leave just before 5am. Unless you need to arrive at the aiport particularly early, you could easily stay downtown.
Finally, the old university town of Leuven is also very close to the airport. You would have no shortage of restaurants to choose from.
