I am considering taking the Holland & Belgium Tour. What is the name of the two airports you fly in and out of from the states? The Amsterdam and Brussel airports. Thank you for your help.
The official name of the Amsterdam airport is "Amsterdam Airport Schiphol." You might see and hear it commonly referred to as Schiphol. The IATA (3-letter code) is AMS.
The Brussels Airport is called just that. Its IATA code is BRU.
Have fun!
One could fly round trip to Amsterdam and easily take the train to Brussels. That might be cheaper then flying open jaw. Or even fly round trip to Brussels and train one way from Amsterdam after the tour ends. Usually round trip is cheaper than open jaw and this tour itinerary makes it easy to do that with one rail trip. If it ends up being cheaper and still a good flight then you could fly open jaw.
I am booked at end of April 2016. Just made by flights and into brussels and out of Amsterdam. Flights were better for that, than in and out of one city for me for some reason!
Have fun.
Thank you, Lane, this as helpful.
ann,
That's a great tour, and I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun.
Happy travels!
