On our April tour we stayed at Hotel Harmony in Ghent and Hotel Aragon in Bruges. Both were wonderful, updated and in ideal locations.

The only weird hotel was in Delft and that is no longer on the itinerary for 2025. (It's the only hotel in the 3 tours we've taken that really wasn't up to standard.) The 2025 itinerary includes Rotterdam and North Holland which were not on the 2024 tours.

For Amsterdam we stayed at Hotel Die Port van Cleve. Also outstanding with a lot of history, but very modern updated rooms.

I highly recommend the tour, and if you are considering when to go, I suggest in the spring when the Keukenhof Gardens are part of the tour. I think it was the primary factor for why everyone on our tour chose the time of year we visited.

I stayed at Hotel Harmony in Ghent for my 2019 Belgium and Holland tour. I stayed there again on my own in 2022 and saw another RS tour there (plus Rolinka, their guide, recognized me from years before!). I love this hotel, location, staff and the awesome breakfast buffet.

On that 2019 trip we stayed at Hotel Adornes in Bruges. It was fine, liked the location a lot (very quiet but a short walk to the busy area).

Don’t know if you are contemplating this tour or just looking for hotels, so I’ll tell you I have also stayed at the Ghent River Hotel which is across the canal from Hotel Harmony on a Road Scholar tour. It was fine, more business person oriented I think. I’d probably not choose it for travel on my own but it worked fine for a tour hotel.

If you’re considering Rick’s Belgium and Holland tour, stop thinking and sign up! It is excellent! It does not have some of the blockbuster sites some of the other tours have but it gives you a solid and interesting experience in both of these countries.

@Jersey Joe; based on your posting history this is the 3rd consecutive year you’ve asked this same question. It’s obvious you have an interest in this tour, but something seems to be holding you back. Is there something we can help you with? Answer questions? Reassure you?
