We are looking for moderately priced accommodations in Bruges. We considered the Ibis by the train station, but we'd like to stay a little further into the city, but not to far, we will be walking :o) There are 4 of us and we'd like to stay at about $150 or below.
Thanks :o)

The train station isn't far from the main sights although the parking lot may not be the pleasantest view in town.
We've stayed previously at the Hotel Maraboe on Hoefijzerlaan and the Hotel Azalea on Wulfhagestraat. The latter appears to have changed into Monsieur Ernest in the past couple of years. Also, friends have stayed at the NH Hotel on Boeveriestraat. I'd recommend any of them.
It was a while ago, but we liked the Hotel Fevery. I think it meets your criteria. We took a bus from the train station to the hotel, I believe, but walked everywhere. I recall a comfortable and clean room, decent breakfast and a good price.
I was there in 2002 and had a great stay at the Dieltiens B&B. I see that it's over your price range (you'd need two rooms). However, the same couple also runs an apartment nearby, and this would work with your needs: http://users.skynet.be/dieltiens/en/enhuis/frame.htm
I stayed at Hotel Cordoeanier in 2014. Liked it real well and they have a great brew pub attached. One block from the main square. Current prices say 145 euros for a room for four.

Look at the White Suite in this one:

We stayed in it last spring and enjoyed it very much: pre-French Revolution mansion with a lovely private garden, and price fits your budget. It has some interesting quirks (narrow stairway and creaky floors because of its age) but was all part of the fun. It was sort of like staying in a French/Belgium farmhouse.
It is a hike across town from the train station (take a bus) but in a nice residential area not far from pretty Jan Van Eyckplein. We had no trouble walking everywhere from here.
