Hotel A La Grande Cloche in Brussels

I stayed there for 3 nights last June. Location is good, between two train stations (Central and Midi/Zuid), and a few minutes walk from the Grand Place. It's in a somewhat 'international ethnic' neighborhood but quite nice. I'm a senior woman who travels solo and I never felt unsafe there. The front desk guys were both very nice and helpful, I had some initial problems with my wifi connection but they got it straightened out. Room was basic, nothing fancy, but very clean and roomy. I had no complaints and I would stay there again, have recommended it to others also.

Nancy - I just saw this post by Jan. so you like La Grand Cloche. I looked up there site and looks nice. So you were pleased!! I am signed up for the Belgium/Holland 2016 tour april 27 to may 7 and plan one arriving on Sun the 24th with 3 days in the Belgium area before our tour starts. I just sent them an email requesting details, price, etc for 3 days. I know it is in April, but I like to get things solidified asap (time slips by me sometimes). Thanks for your reply to Jan's question.
