My family and I just returned from a stay with Rita and Benedict at B&B Huyze Walburga in Bruges and it was awesome! We really enjoyed Rita's genuine hospitality and the location was just perfect. It is just a 8 minute walk to the main Markt square but quiet enough to make you feel like you're in another century.
The homemade breakfast was such a treat and delivered with love and enthusiasm every morning. Rita went out of her way to make us vegan dishes every time.
Rita only has this one room, so the reviews online don't place her in the top of a Bruges search, but I highly, highly recommend staying here if you're headed to Bruges anytime soon. You can find them either via Booking.com or TripAdvisor and we just paid cash when we arrived, I thought the pricing was very fair.
