i love yodelling, and i'm curious about locations in the hallstatt and salzburg locations where i might find yodelling, danke, nicholas
We were once skiing outside Innsbruck. And we actually heard someone yodeling out on the slopes.
On my first trip there in 1970, the radio channels in Tirol were playing polka music. Locals actually listened to the stuff. Then we caught a radio channel in Vienna playing Porter Waggoner and Dolly Parton's "Forty Miles to Poplar Bluff."
I actually heard someone yodelling in my neighborhood yesterday. That doesn't happen too often!
Learn yodelling on vacation...

See if any of your locations have Oesch's die Dritten https://www.oeschs-die-dritten.ch/en/ performing nearby when you will be there. They are a Swiss (from the Berner Oberland) family volk music group. Melanie Oesch is both a singer and a yodeller - most of their songs include Melanie jodelling. The band includes her mother, singer, her father who plays a Swiss accordian, and her two brothers on guitars.
Lots of their music on Youtube - perhaps have a listen and see if they appeal.
The website linked above includes their performance schedule.
