Would you suggest a guide for Schonbrunn Palace?

I was wondering whether any of you have visited the Schonbrunn Palace and, if so, do you think it is necessary to hire a guide?

I've already purchased tickets for the Belvedere Palace (no guide) and plan to also purchase tickets for the Hofburg Imperial Apartments and Treasury. Not sure if any of these places might be enhanced with the help of a guide or whether it would be fine to visit any of them without one.

Thank you for any insight you can provide.

I'd definitely get the audio guides. I think they're quite worthwhile.
Have a great trip.

Thanks Pat. I was wondering whether it would be worthwhile to hire a private guide for the palace but it sounds like the audio guides work just fine.

I second the audio tour. Don't forget to book your timed tickets and allow enough time to visit the gardens behind the palace.
Tram stops right in front of the Palace.
