Winter 2023 and skiing

Hello forum,
I am seeking comments and opinions regarding travel disruptions pertaining to fuel, electricity and blackouts, etc. For this ski season. How much will hotels and car rentals be effected? Could hotels cancel reservations with very short notice? Will gasoline, while expensive still be readily available?

Hotels suffer heavily from lack of qualified staff. Some had to close down, some had to reduce their services. The same applies to restaurants.
Regarding the energy crisis, no decisions had been made yet. The most energy consuming matter is the production of artificial snow. Depending on the amount of snowfall in the winter it could be that certain ski slopes and their related lifts and cable cars will not operate.
But all this is pure speculation at the moment.
Fuel, electricity and blackouts are no issues, at least for consumers.
