I am currently in Austria and have lost my Rick Steves "Vienna, Salzburg & Tirol" book. Does anyone know where I would be able to purchase a replacement in Salzburg? Need it for my hotel discount and other info when we arrive in Salzburg tomorrow (Sept. 10th) thanks for the help!

Höllrigl in the very center (Sigmund-Haffner-Gasse) is the largest bookshop but I do not remember a particularly sizable choice of English books. I see there is a new English bookshop (http://www.theenglishcenter.at/en/) but it is a bit out of the main area and I never visited it. You could try phoning there before walking all the way.

Good luck. I have never seen Rick Steves books for sale in Germany and Austria.

Freitag und Berndt in Vienna carries them, although the selection in the store is less than what they have on their online shop.
Not much help in Salzburg, I guess. There, maybe try Höllrigl. Just a guess.
