What is the best way from Vienna to Prague by train on a Sunday? Thanks in advance for help.
To go by train. I'm not sure I understand the question, buy a ticket (I suggest in advance), board the train. Buy tickets at www.oebb.at or www.cd.cz
P.S. It is Wien, Wein means wine.
The query is it's self evident answer . Buy a ticket ( OEBB , Austrian State Railways - https://www.oebb.at/en/ )
Looks like two similar reactions ;-)
Thanks for the reply as I did not know where to go to buy the ticket. Now I do know.
Great! A small recommendation for future questions, if you want to know how/where to buy tickets, it is not a bad idea to ask "How do I buy tickets for the train between Vienna and Prague", that way we don't have to guess what you want to know.
Here is an entire blog post about just this — traveling from Vienna to Prague by train — what is it like, what can you expect, where to buy tickets and when, what to expect at the Vienna and Prague train stations . . .

(Yes the URL says Prague to Vienna, but the post discusses the way you need to go as well)
Thanks Kim😁 Seat 61 is exactly what I was looking to find. Many happy travels to you.
I looked at going from Prague to Vienna on the Czech train website (www.cd.cz) and also on the Austrian train website (www.oebb.at). Booking through the Czech train website cost less than booking the same train through the Austrian train website.
I have a different great idea (if it works out on your Sunday. We just discovered a company that does one-way transport with sightseeing to Prague from Vienna. sidetriptours.com The price is only $89, and they have great reviews. I wish all countries had these companies!
