Well, after months of uncertainty, I'm happy to report we had a wonderful time in Austria! There was definitely an added stress traveling during a pandemic, but once there, it was magical :) All things considered, the trip had very few hiccups. And, we got to see my daughter, which was the whole point of the trip.
I want to thank all of you who helped me with details the last few months, especially with helping me decide on a hotel in Vienna and choosing which concerts to attend. Staying at Motel One by the Opera House was the best choice, as it turned out that was probably my favorite area of the city! The Tonkunstler Orchestra concert at Musikverein was a major highlight of the trip!
