My husband and I have want to waltz in the New Year at a Ball in Vienna. I know there used to be an Emperor's Ball....but I can't find any information on it for this year. Does anyone know of a New Years Ball in Vienna? Thank you for any info.

There are many balls one can attend. The only problem is selecting one. A simple google search should give you a wealth of information to start considering, but the exact dates for the the 2024-2025 ball season may not yet be set.

In 2023/2024 there was only one ball in Vienna on New Year’s Eve. It is probably helpful to know that in Austria, New Year’s is called Silvester. The link to that ball is here - https://www.silvestergala.com/en
Most balls in Vienna are in the Carnevale/Mardi Gras/Fasching season, so the weeks leading up to Lent, mostly in late January and February.
The local custom on Silvester is to waltz at midnight at Stephansplatz to the Blue Danube.
