We are a family of 3 generations traveling to Vienna in June/July. One of the day we are going to Wachau. Are there wineries in the Durnhtein area that are great for lunch? Just estimating that's where we will be around lunchtime. Ideally, we would like a winery with a great food, ambiance and views, if all of it possible.

They have local Wine... Lieb Stöckl. Food is OK. You are out in the traffic bit.

Wineries are for tasting and enjoying wine, not so much for food. Excellent food you will get in restaurants, which serve best wines from Wachau, of course.
