In Vienna early June and have a few days after before flying home. Single woman traveling solo. Has anyone stayed in the Vienna woods? What town did you stay in Suggestions for hotels or spas.

I make frequent visits to Vienna , and stay at a hotel in Leopoldstadt ( 2nd District ) As you go further from the center , there are fewer accommodations . Here are three possibilities that might work . Quite near Schoenbrunn Palace in Hietzing on the U4 line this place https://www.austria-trend.at/de/hotels/parkhotel-schoenbrunn The storied #38 tram will take you to this place , near Grinzing https://www.living-hotels.com/standorte/wien/living-hotel-kaiser-franz-joseph and finally a half hour ride on the blue and white tram ( Badner Bahn ) leaves from the Opera house on The Ring to Baden Bei Wien , a charming spa town , lovely place to wander about .

thank you - the 2 hotels look great and glad you reconfirmed that Baden was a good place to visit.
