Vienna Staatsoper

I tried to book tickets on the Staatsoper site for The Magic Flute on June 9th. Before I completed the purchase, I noticed the word "standby" was on the page. Does anybody know what this means? Would I really be purchasing tickets or not?

When I look at the site today, this shows the number of seats available at each price level, so there are 70 seats for sale at 197 euro (the really good seats with the upper crust) and 15 seats for sale at 12 euro (in the back of the house with "restricted sightlines"). And in the middle is everything else in between.
70 197,00 €
140 172,00 €
54 128,00 €
8 90,00 €
21 70,00 €
28 50,00 €
1 32,00 €
15 12,00 €
You can see the actual seat locations. If you clicked on "If you cannot find any tickets in the desired price range, you have the possibility to book tickets here." Then you are asking for standby tickets, perhaps if someone turns in their tickets. If you want tickets for this event, I suggest you order through normal booking channel. The 50 euro ones all the way in the upper balcony are the cheapest you can get seats tighter.
